About this Villa

A charming & traditional villa in a super location with private bar. Centro Plaza, restaurants, cafes, bars, shops. La Sala, Breathe, Mogli, Nomad, Nao etc 5 mins walk, Aloha with its abundance of bars, restaurants, pool clubs, gyms & golf & tennis on your doorstep. 10 min walk to the port & beaches (2 mins cab). Supermarkets, restaurants at the end of the street. Set in luscious greenland & looking out onto La Concha mountain the villa offers tranquillity whilst being ultra central. You don't need to hire a car and navigate the daily traffic jams.

The space

The villa has numerous eating and relaxing spaces with moveable shading if you want more or less sun. You can relax or dine in the bottom garden amongst the trees and vines and enjoy the greenery. The mid garden, the side garden, by the pool, the BBQ dining area, the rear terrace off the lounge, in the lounge and dining room if you want to cool down, the terrace off the master bedroom, the front dining area at ground level which catches the late sun or the roof terrace (with secure barriers) giving lovely 360 degree views. There's also a secret garden..." secret..ish, a small white gravelled garden behind a quaint wooden door in the bottom garden, it's ideal if you want a bit of space and me alone time.

In the garden is a small 3m x 2m mini home gym. It is basic, just a few free weights, adjustable bench, push up / pull up station, but it saves the hassle and expense of a gym membership, but there is a great gym a few hundred meters away if you prefer. Of course there's Padel club, about 1km away which is a bit like

Some people don't like air con (ours is brand new) so we have installed in a few of the bedrooms with quiet running fans that create a welcome draft, without the potential of irritation for some with air con. It's also great for wafting away any mosquitos whilst you sleep. However, if you don't like air con if you chill the room before bed with the windows and curtains closed the temperature remains quite constant giving as lovely nights sleep.

The villa is alarmed with Verisure, the largest company in it's sector in Europe. You only need a fob to activate, no complex numbers and if you have a quiery the local rep is around in hours, or you can talk to them directly via a house speaker, they speak fluent English and Spanish. Have an emergency, press the SOS button and they are there or they can call the police, ambulance or fire brigade for you. There's 4 internal PIR cameras, lounge, hall, landing and pub. You leave the chrome lens flap open and if a PIR is activated when you are out (when the alarm is set) 5 pics are taken by the PIR internal camera and sent direct to Verisure HQ. Or simply slide it the chrome lens cover closed, either way the actual alarm will still work when activated and a Versiure Guard will attend.

There is beautiful outside lighting that creates the most gorgeous scenes in all of the gardens. In addition the house has 360 degree security lighting. It's motion activated so any potential foolish intruder will be illuminated as if they are on stage... that's if they actually got over the thorny bushes that surround the perimeter. However, it's always best to keep your valuables in the safe, just in case someone leaves the gate and front door open.

It is a very safe property. There is at least one intelligent smoke alarm in every room, hall, stairs and landing with integrated emergency lighting. In the very unlikely event there's a fire when you are out Verisure are contacted and they send the fire brigade.
A king bed and a sofa bed are in the attached apartment. It’s great if a few of the group like a little extra privacy.. or you want to lock the teens away.

Guest access

A lively Saturday and Sunday market is a five minute walk away with bars and stalls busy and full of atmosphere, perfect for a day of shopping or a good breakfast or lunch.

Perfectly located between the port and Aloha. So central yet the villa is surrounded by green tranquility. As many bars, restaurants, golf courses, beaches, retail outlets, pool clubs as you like all within walking distance, or a 2 min taxi (especially for ladies in heels as there are hills in Banus/Marbella!). Supermarket 2 mins, local restaurants 2 mins, a lively Saturday and Sunday market on the doorstep. We are ultra central yet surrounded and look onto greenery.

The Golden Mile is a 5 min taxi/drive with the five star Puente Romano hotel offering upmarket nightlife-restaurants Nobu, Serafina, Bibo to name a few, and the stunning Suite nightclub. There are so many stunning venues, the list goes on, This area and location of the villa is unbeatable. So central to enjoy all Puerto Banus and Marbella have to offer, yet slightly set back from the port to avoid (traffic) noise/being disturbed.

Beaches, golf, tennis, shopping (including the Spanish version of Harrods-El Court Ingles) the port, casual and fine dining, bars, clubs and the pool and beach clubs Mogli, Ocean Club, Sala Beach, Nomad, Mosh, Plaza Beach and Nao are all walking distance.

We are close to everything and can be walked within 5 - 10 mins or a couple of mins in a taxi, yet we are set back enough from the port and nightlife that when you close the gate it is tranquil with stunning views. All amenities are extremely close by. You do not need a car.

The villa has it all. If you want to be in the centre of it all we are perfectly located. If you want to have your own fun in the pub, cinema area, pool, gardens and terraces you can.

Other things to note

A lively Saturday and Sunday market is a two-minute walk away with bars and stalls busy and full of atmosphere, perfect for a day of shopping or a good breakfast or lunch. The villa boasts its own English pub-style bar in the basement, simply stunning with Bang & Olufsen music system (syncs to anyone’s phone), pool table, darts, 4K cinema area (9ft screen) with a selection of new releases and classic films, sport, hundreds of UK TV channels (Others if required) and doors opening out onto the outdoor pool area. We have around 20 fruit trees if you like to go organic with food and smoothies.

The bar is stunning and all yours. This private pool and barbecue area with its lovely teak sun loungers, cushions and giant umbrellas and stunning views offers perfect relaxation time. And there are lots of terraces and a big garden for outdoor dining as well as a roof terrace and front porch area with giant cosy seats if you want to catch some late sun. The roof terrace offers fantastic 360 degree views whilst relaxing.

Love organic? Feel free to help yourself to the abundance of fruit from the trees in the bottom garden...pomegranates, oranges, lemons, limes, tangerines, bananas, avocados, mangos.

The beds and mattresses are top quality (there are 3 super kings, a king, a double and also in the attached apartment is a sofa bed too) offering maximum comfort, and four of the bedrooms have smart TVs. There is also a 65” smart tv in the living room and a 9ft screen in the cinema area of the pub with an Ultra high definition 4k projector... all that show new and classic movies, 100s of TV channels, box sets, sport and web browsing . The appliances are high spec... Illy coffee machines, Smeg and Kitchen Aid kettles and toasters. The villa has a small apartment attached to it with one chocolate velvet super king bed and a leather king size sofa bed in the living area. Please note the two rooms in the apartment are divided by a curtained doorway only. They share a family bathroom with bath and shower.

The house is designed for comfortable living, a fully-equipped kitchen (with a small kitchen in the apartment too), indoor and outdoor dining, lots of comfortable seating and loungers in all areas. There’s a selection of books for all ages and a few kids indoor and outdoor toys too.

The villa is approximately 400 sq.m on a 1200 sq.m plot. It is large so that even if you are part of a large group you can always find a little space on your own should you want it. There are numerous sitting areas and dining areas. Netgear top of the range Orbi professional wifi covers the villa throughout. This villa would suit families or a respectful group.


Getting Around

Almost everything you need can be walked to or a short taxi. The port of Banus and beach is a 2 minute taxi away or 10 min walk. La Sala a 5 minute walk, Five star Puente Romano Hotel (which comprises around 15 restaurants and beach restaurants and nightclub) around 5 min taxi away. Pretty villages of San Pedro and Benahavis are a short drive and Rhonda with its stunning views and old-fashioned Spanish cafes and restaurants and cobbled streets is a must-see and only around 45 minutes drive. The Golden Mile is around 5 minutes drive away and is simply beautiful to walk/cycle/scooter. Aloha is on your door step, with an abundance of pool clubs, night clubs, amazing bars and restaurants, all on a world class standard. In our pictures is a general map of most places.


Location

The villa is in a fantastic and centrally located in a cul de sac at the end the road one way in and one way out. You can park on the drive or directly outside. There are cameras all around the villa providing peace of mind. There are CCTV cameras inside the communal areas. However, we do not have access to them, only the CCTV company when an alarm is triggered, but you do have the option of simply sliding the lens cover closed and no images can be taken by the alarm company but the PIR and alarm will still work. It's a simple fob to arm and disarm and you just offer the fob up to the control box at the front door. We are the closest villa to Central Plaza and have stunning views with Aloha to one side with an abundance of bars, restaurants and pool clubs, numerous golf courses. The port and beach the other. Looking from the front is Campana and to the back is Marbella East and Marbella Old Town.... great to visit by boat from Puerto Banus for around €10

How to get here

40 minutes from Malaga airport. Either take the bus form the airport to Marbella bus station (7-8 euros) which has air con and is lovely or if there’s a few of you take a taxi. If booked online in advance it should cost around €80-90
